Tamás Kásás (born July 20, 1976 in Budapest is a retired Hungarian water polo player, with a height of 200 cm (6.5ft) and a weight of 90 kg (198.4 lbs).

Gábor Csapó (20 September 1950 – 27 November 2022) was a Hungarian water polo player who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics and in the 1980 Summer Olympics.

Zoltán Szilágyi (born June 21, 1967 in Budapest) is a former freestyle swimmer from Hungary, who competed in the 1988, 1992, 2000 Summer Olympics.

Sándor Noszály (Hungarian: Noszály Sándor, born 16 March 1972 in Budapest) is a retired tennis player from Hungary, who is a five times Hungarian Champion in singles and 16 times adding the doubles.

Attila Solti (born 2 December 1966 in Budapest) is a Hungarian-Guatemalan sport shooter. Before his change of domicile to Guatemala, Solti had an extensive competitive career for his native Hungary in shooting. He won a total of twenty-nine medals in a major international competition, including two golds in both 10 and 50 m running target at World Championships and had set two world records in just a single season.

Tamás Darnyi (born 3 June 1967 in Budapest) is a Hungarian retired male swimmer. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest medley swimmers in history. He won four gold medals at two Olympic Games (1988 and 1992) and was unbeaten in the individual medley events from 1985 until his retirement in 1993. He is the first swimmer ever to swim the 200 m medley (long course) in less than 2 minutes.

Emrich "Imre" Lichtenfeld (Hebrew: אימריך “אימי” ליכטנפלד‎) (May 26, 1910 – January 9, 1998) was a Hungarian-born Israeli martial artist who founded the Krav Maga self-defense system. He was also known as Imi Sde-Or (Hebrew: אימי שדאור‎), the Hebrew calque of his surname.

Flórián Albert (15 September 1941 – 31 October 2011) was a Hungarian professional football player, manager and sports official, who was named European Footballer of the Year in 1967. Nicknamed "The Emperor", he played as a forward, and has been described as one of the most elegant footballers of all time.

Ferenc Puskás ( FERR-ents PUUSH-kəsh, PUUSH-kash; né Ferenc Purczeld; 1 April 1927 – 17 November 2006) was a Hungarian footballer and manager, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and the sport's first international superstar. A prolific forward, he scored 84 goals in 85 international matches for Hungary, played four international matches for Spain and scored 514 goals in 529 matches in the Hungarian and Spanish leagues. He became an Olympic champion in 1952 and led his nation to the final of the 1954 World Cup. He won three European Cups (1959, 1960, 1966), 10 national championships (5 Hungarian and 5 Spanish Primera División) and 8 top individual scoring honors. In 1995, he was recognized as the greatest top division scorer of the 20th century by the IFFHS. With 808 goals in official games scored during his career, he is the third top goalscorer of all time.

Tibor Benedek (12 July 1972 – 18 June 2020) was a Hungarian water polo player, who played on the gold medal squads at the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics. Benedek also competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics, where the Hungarian team placed 6th and 4th, respectively. He was a member of team Domino-Honvéd.
