Dániel Gyurta (born 4 May 1989) is a Hungarian former competitive swimmer who mainly competed in the 200-metre breaststroke.

Tamás Darnyi (born 3 June 1967 in Budapest) is a Hungarian retired male swimmer. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest medley swimmers in history. He won four gold medals at two Olympic Games (1988 and 1992) and was unbeaten in the individual medley events from 1985 until his retirement in 1993. He is the first swimmer ever to swim the 200 m medley (long course) in less than 2 minutes.

László Cseh (:born 3 December 1985) is a Hungarian competitive swimmer and six-time Olympic medalist. He is a 33-time European Champion. His father, László Cseh Sr., also represented Hungary at the Olympics in swimming.

Ferenc Csik (12 December 1913 – 29 March 1945) was a Hungarian swimmer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics.

András Hargitay (born 17 March 1956) is a retired swimmer from Hungary, who won the bronze medal in the 400 m individual medley at the 1972 Summer Olympics. He finished fourth in the same event at the 1976 and 1980 Games, missing the bronze medal by less than 0.3 seconds in both cases. In 1974, he set a new world record in the 400 m medley.

Norbert Rózsa (born 9 February 1972 in Dombóvár) is a former breaststroker from Hungary, who competed at three consecutive Olympics, beginning with the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He won two silver medals, in the 100 m and 200 m breaststroke, and became Olympic champion in Atlanta, Georgia in the 200 m breaststroke.

István Bárány (20 December 1907 – 21 February 1995) was a Hungarian swimmer who competed at the 1924, 1928 and 1932 Summer Olympics.

Gergő Kis (born 19 January 1988, in Tapolca) is a Hungarian freestyle swimmer.

Zoltán Verrasztó (born 15 March 1956 in Budapest) is a former backstroke and medley swimmer from Hungary.

Olivér Halassy (31 July 1909 – 10 September 1946) was a Hungarian water polo player and freestyle swimmer who competed in the 1928, 1932 and 1936 Summer Olympics.
