Oliver Berben

Oliver Berben, in 1971 in Munich born, studied electrical engineering as well as aerial technology and space technology in the technological university of Berlin, before he changed in the film branch. He began as a production assistant and unit manager with promotional film productions and changed afterwards to the film and television film where he was active as a ridge Assistant Director. Together with director Carlo Rola he founded in February, 1996 the company Moovie the art of entertainment Ltd. In 1999 Oliver Berben led his first direction with the Sat.1 film " the devil`s woman ". In September, 1999 he realised the coalescence of the Moovie the art of entertainment Ltd with the Constantin Film AG. Beside numerous film productions and television productions he draws as a producer of the TV row successful at home and abroad "Rose Roth" with iris Berben in the leading role, the ZDF row " the soloist " with Thomas Kretschmann as well as the film "Sitting" under the direction of Carlo Rola responsibly. Oliver Berben co-operates with a huge number of famous TV directors, under it Stephan Wagner ("official journey"), Matti Geschonneck ("silver wedding"), Carlo Rola ("Die Patriarchin", "Rose Roth"), Nina Grosse (" 21 love letters ") and also with doer of "Elementarteilchen" Oskar Roehler (" Drive to the hell, sister! "). In 2004 Oliver Berben also realised for the first time two TV documentations as a producer: the two-part report with the title AND NOW, ISRAEL? as well as the documentation located at the moment in post production... MORE THAN 1000 of WORD about the famous war photographer Ziv Choosing. To the topical productions belong among other things the ZDF-3-divisor " Africa, mon amour " and first Moovie-"scene" with the working title "A g`mahde Wiesn". Already the event-3-divisor " the day is finished will come " from the successful crime film row "Rose Roth".

For the Constantin Film AG Oliver Berben produced the films " Sat - the master thieves " (2001, direction: Carlo Rola), "highway speedster" (2003, direction: Michael Keusch) and "elementary particle" after the best-seller of the same name of Michel Houellebecq (book and direction: Oskar Roehler).
