Monika Strauch

Monika Strauchis an Austrian actress. She received her dance training at the ballet school from Rudi Fränzl and acting lessons from Helmuth Krauss. She made her stage debut with Fritz Rémond in the Frankfurt Theater im Zoo. Strauch acted mainly in Schwänken and other comedies . In the film industry, she usually only got smaller roles. In 1970, however, she was the main actress in the frivolous Lisa film production Dornwittchen und Schneeröschen. The ZDF television audience experienced it from 1969 to 1977 in 97 episodes of the music program Do you recognize the melody? as assistant to Ernst Stankovski. She also worked as a presenter and radio play speaker for radio. She is married to the Austrian presenter and actor Peter Machac, with whom she can often be seen at artistic and social events.
