    The Summit Building is a twelve-story, all-glass high-rise building located at 300 North Marienfield in the business sector of Downtown Midland, Texas. The building is constructed with a more modern look than most of Midland's downtown buildings. In 2008, the Summit Building became the first building in the Midland area to be depicted on Google Earth in 3D mode.

    Independence Plaza is a highrise office building located in downtown Midland, Texas. It is the city's fourth tallest building after the Bank of America Building, the Wilco Building and Centennial Tower. Floors two through seven are parking garage in the building and floors eight through 16 are office. The building also has a seven-level parking garage attached to it on its north side. Independence Plaza was constructed during Midland's building boom when the city experienced rapid growth and a need for office space in the early 80's due to an oil boom. Today, a local bank occupies the lobby of the building and various companies are tenants on floors eight through sixteen.

    The Wilco Building is a high rise in downtown Midland, Texas. At 308 feet (94 m) tall and 22 floors, it is the second-tallest building in the city after the Bank of America Building. In 1985, the Wilco Building underwent some renovations. It is one of the iconic images of the Midland downtown skyline.

    The Frost Tower (formerly WNB Tower) is a 12-story, 115 foot highrise building in downtown Midland, Texas. The second and third levels of the building are parking garages. The building is located at 508 W. Wall St. It houses various companies such as oil & gas and attorney's offices. Its main tenant in the building was Western National Bank until its absorption by Frost Bank who is now the primary tenant. The bank has an operational branch in the lobby and has its main operations on the tenth floor. The eleventh floor houses the bank's lending operations and also houses Private Client Services. The building also has a small cafe on the ground level called "Matteo's Internet Cafe."

    The Bank of America Building, originally known as the First National Bank Building, is a highrise located in downtown Midland, Texas. It is designed by Texas architect George Dahl in 1952 and completed in 1978. It is notable for its marble 2-story banking lobby. It remains the tallest building in the city at 24 stories 332 feet (101 m). The building is located at 303 W. Wall St. and currently houses various oil and gas companies as well as Bank of America, Midland.

    The Permian Building was a large office building in Midland, Texas that stood at 68 feet (21 m). It was built in 1933 and demolished in 2007. According to the Midland Convention and Visitor's Bureau, former US President George W. Bush had an office in the building in the late 1970s.
