Satyr (born Sigurd Wongraven on 28 November 1975) is the vocalist, lead and rhythm guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist for the Norwegian black metal band Satyricon.

Kjetil-Vidar Haraldstad (stage name Frost; born 28 June 1973 in Øyer, Oppland, Norway) is the drummer in black metal bands Satyricon and 1349.

Samoth (born Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen, 9 June 1974) is a musician and multi-instrumentalist in the Norwegian black metal scene. He is well known for his distinct guitar work and drumming in the band Emperor, as well as his formation of the death metal band Zyklon. In very early Emperor releases, he was called Samot (his name "Tomas" backward), and with the formation of Zyklon he became known as Zamoth. Samoth was the owner of the record label Nocturnal Art Productions and had a close relationship with Candlelight Records.

Ted Skjellum (born March 4, 1972), also known by the stage name Nocturno Culto, is a Norwegian musician best known as the vocalist, lead guitarist, and partial bassist (shared with Fenriz) of the influential black metal band Darkthrone. He has been with the band since 1988. He is also the vocalist of the band Sarke, and has a solo project called Gift of Gods. He currently works in Norway as a school teacher, and has a son and a daughter. He has also released a documentary film called The Misanthrope in which he deals with black metal music and life in Norway.

Anders Odden (born 20 December 1972), is a Norwegian musician. He is the co-founder and guitarist of the Norwegian death metal band Cadaver (1988–1993; 1999–present), and is the bass player for Norwegian black metal band Satyricon (2009–present). He is founder and guitarist of the old school black metal band ORDER and the industrial rock band Magenta. He played live guitar for Celtic Frost (2006–2007) and has had several guest appearances with bands such as The Young Gods and Ministry, among others.

Håvard Jørgensen (born 26 September 1975), also known as Haavard, Lemarchand, is a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist. He was the original guitarist of the Norwegian black metal bands Satyricon and Ulver.

Jan Erik Tiwaz, aka Tyr (born 22 June 1972) is the former bassist for the Norwegian black/folk metal band Borknagar. He is known for his progressive playing style in black metal and his use of extended range basses. He also made of use of these in his later work with Borknagar, namely a 6 string fretless on 'Origin' and a custom 8 string fretless on 'Universal'. Tyr has also been a touring bassist for Satyricon, as featured in their live video Roadkill Extravaganza (2001) and with Emperor as seen in Emperial Live Ceremony (2000). He currently resides in Drammen, Norway.

Steinar Gundersen (born 16 September 1970) is a guitarist from the small village of Oklungen, Norway. He plays live with the black metal band Satyricon as well as also having played lead guitar in the progressive metal band Spiral Architect. Gundersen has recently started a band called System:obscure, together with Bugge Wesseltoft.

Carl-Michael Eide (born 24 July 1974) is a Norwegian black metal musician, multi-instrumentalist (mainly known as a drummer), and vocalist. He is also known under stage names Aggressor, Czral and Exhurtum.

Geir "Gerlioz" Bratland (born 29 July 1970 in Narvik, Norway) is a Norwegian keyboardist for the band Dimmu Borgir (2010-) and formerly was a member of the bands God Seed, Apoptygma Berzerk, The Kovenant, and Satyricon.
