Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova (Russian: Валентина Владимировна Терешкова, ; born 6 March 1937) is a Russian engineer, member of the State Duma, and former Soviet cosmonaut, being the first woman ever to fly in space. She was the first woman in space, having flown a solo mission on Vostok 6 on 16 June 1963. She orbited the Earth 48 times, spent almost three days in space, is the only woman to have been on a solo space mission and is the last surviving Vostok programme cosmonaut. She was the youngest woman to fly in space until 2023 when Anastatia Mayers flew on Galactic 02 at the age of 18. Since Mayers flew a suborbital mission, Tereshkova remains the youngest woman to fly in Earth orbit.

Zarifa Pashaevna Mgoyan (Russian: Зарифа́ Паша́евна Мгоя́н; born 26 July 1983), known as Zara (За́ра), is a Russian pop singer, actress and social activist. She was awarded the title Honored Artist of the Russian Federation in 2016.

Anatoly Ivanovich Antonov (Russian: Анато́лий Ива́нович Анто́нов, born 15 May 1955) is a Russian politician, military officer and diplomat who is currently the Ambassador of Russia to the United States, formally replacing Sergey Kislyak on 21 August 2017 by presidential decree. With a reputation as a hardliner and tough negotiator, Antonov took up his post in Washington, D.C. on 1 September 2017. He was formerly Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister of Defence. Since 2015, he has been under sanctions of the European Union and Canada, in response to Russia's military intervention in Ukraine. Antonov was pulled from Washington on March 17 after US President Joe Biden called Putin a "killer."

Igor Anatolyevich Kirillov (Russian: Игорь Анатольевич Кириллов; 13 July 1970 – 17 December 2024) was a Russian lieutenant general and war criminal. He was the head of the Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear defense troops of the Russian Armed Forces until his assassination in 2024 by Ukrainian security forces. Kirillov was the highest-ranking Russian military official to be killed outside the front lines since Russia's February 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Kirillov facilitated the use of chloropicrin in Ukraine, which is a war-crime per the Chemical Weapons Convention.

Oleg Yuryevich Tsokov (Russian: Оле́г Ю́рьевич Цо́ков; 23 September 1971 – 11 July 2023) was a Russian lieutenant general who served in the Russian Ground Forces as deputy commander of the Southern Military District. He was killed in 2023 by a missile strike during a Ukrainian counteroffensive against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Yakov Vladimirovich Rezantsev (Russian: Яков Владимирович Резанцев; 4 January 1973) is a Russian lieutenant general (two-star rank). He has commanded the 49th Army of the Southern Military District.

Aleksandr Pavlovich Lapin (Russian: Александр Павлович Лапин; born on 1 January 1964), is a Russian army officer who is currently the commander of the Central Military District since 22 November 2017. He was promoted to the rank of colonel general in 2019.

Mikhail Yevgenyevich Mizintsev (Russian: Михаил Евгеньевич Мизинцев; born 10 September 1962) is a Russian colonel general. He headed the National Defense Management Center of Russia, served as the deputy minister of defence of Russia for logistics from 24 September 2022 to 27 April 2023, and later in Wagner Group.
