Suborna Mustafa (born 2 December 1959) is a Bangladeshi television, film and stage actress. She is the current Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Reserved Women's Seat-4 since February 2019. She is a member of Bangladesh Awami League party.

Mita Haque (1962 - 11 April 2021) was a Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer. She is listed as the highest grade artist of the Bangladesh Betar. She has 14 solo musical albums released from India and 10 musical albums released in Bangladesh. She was awarded Ekushey Padak by the Government of Bangladesh in 2020 for her contributions to music.

Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul (1 January 1956 – 22 January 2019) was a Bangladeshi lyricist, composer and music director, active since the late 1970s. He was a freedom fighter who joined the Bangladesh Liberation War at the age of 15. He won Ekushey Padak and Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Director twice for the films Premer Taj Mahal (2001) and Hajar Bachhor Dhore (2005).

Abdullah Al Mamun (13 July 1942 – 21 August 2008) was a Bangladeshi playwright, actor, and filmmaker. He earned the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1978 and the Ekushey Padak in 2000 from the Government of Bangladesh. As a filmmaker, he won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Director twice for the direction of the films Ekhoni Somoy (1980) and Dui Jibon (1988).

Ferdousi Mazumder (née Ara Begum; born 18 June 1943) is a Bangladeshi film, television and stage actress. She was awarded Ekushey Padak (1998) and Independence Day Award (2020) by the Government of Bangladesh. As of 2009, on stage she has given over 1200 performances of about 35 plays, mostly for her own group, Theatre.

Altaf Mahmud (Bengali: আলতাফ মাহমুদ; 23 December 1933 – September 1971) was a musician, cultural activist, and martyred freedom fighter of the Bangladesh Liberation War. He was also a language activist of the Language Movement and composer of "Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano", the famous song written to commemorate the event.

Aly Zaker (6 November 1944- 27 November 2020) was a Bangladeshi actor, businessman, director and writer. He is the owner of Asiatic Marketing Communications Limited (Asiatic 3 Sixty).

Mahbubul Haque Khan (28 February 1950 – 5 June 2011), best known as Azam Khan, was a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, record producer, and lead singer for the pop-rock band "Uchcharon". He was also a freedom fighter. He took part in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971. He is considered to be one of the greatest artists in the history of Bangladeshi popular music.

Tareque Masud (6 December 1956 – 13 August 2011) was a Bangladeshi independent film director, film producer, screenwriter and lyricist. He first found success with the films Muktir Gaan (1995) and Matir Moina (2002), for which he won three international awards, including the International Critics' FIPRESCI Prize, in the Directors' Fortnight section outside competition at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. The film became Bangladesh's first film to compete for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Abdul Latif (1927 – 27 February 2005) was a Bangladeshi singer, musician, and lyricist. He was the initial composer of the Bengali language movement song, "Amaar Bhaiyer Rakte Rangano Ekushey February". He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1997 and Independence Day Award in 2002 by the Government of Bangladesh.
