She is best known for her role as Aunt Helen King on the comedy sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show which originally ran from 1996 to 2001 and as Mary Lou Wentz, the mother of Teddy's best friend Ivy on Good Luck Charlie from 2010 to 2014. English was featured in a central role on the former, and was paired onscreen with Garrett Morris, who plays her husband Junior King.

Akeem Bernard Hunt (born February 22, 1993) is an American football running back for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He played college football at Purdue University. He also has played for the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans and Orlando Apollos of the Alliance of American Football (AAF).

He attended Newton High School in Covington, Georgia, where he lettered in football, basketball and track. Later, he played college football for Appalachian State.

Willie Jake Reed (born September 28, 1967) is a former professional American football player who played for 12 seasons in the National Football League as a wide receiver from 1991 to 2002 for the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints. Reed played collegiately at Grambling State University and was selected by the Vikings in the third round of the 1991 NFL Draft, a pick that the Vikings acquired in the Herschel Walker trade. Reed is the father of J. R. Reed, who is a safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He was drafted in the first round (12th overall) by the New Orleans Saints in the 2016 NFL Draft, and played for the team from 2016 to 2020.
