Johnny Mitchell Jr. (born January 20, 1971) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League for the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. He played college football at the University of Nebraska.

Ralph Davis Brown II (born September 16, 1978) is a former American college and professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. He played college football for the University of Nebraska, and was a consensus All-American. He played professionally for the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals of the NFL.

Ndamukong Ngwa Suh ( in-DAH-mə-kin SOO, born January 6, 1987) is an American football defensive end who is a free agent. He played college football at Nebraska, where he earned All-American honors, and was drafted by the Detroit Lions second overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. He played from 2010 to 2014 with the Lions. He also played for the Miami Dolphins (2015–2017) the Los Angeles Rams (2018) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2019-2020). He has played in two Super Bowls: Super Bowl LIII with the Rams and Super Bowl LV with the Buccaneers, winning the latter with a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Richard Dominik Incognito Jr. (born July 5, 1983) is an American football offensive guard for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Nebraska and was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played for them through the 2009 season, and also played for the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, making four Pro Bowls. After sitting out the 2018 season, Incognito signed with the Raiders.

Vince Anthony Ferragamo (born April 24, 1954) is an American former gridiron football player. He played professionally as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Lawrence Lamond Phillips (May 12, 1975 – January 13, 2016) was a professional American football and Canadian football running back. A two-time college football national champion with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Phillips played in the National Football League for the St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers from 1996 through 1999, and for the Montreal Alouettes and Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League in 2002 and 2003.

Ameer Abdullah (born June 13, 1993) is an American football running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska. In 2013, Abdullah rushed for 1,690 yards, fourth most for a single season in University of Nebraska history. He decided not to enter the NFL Draft at the end of his junior year, but instead to return for his senior season. He was considered a contender for the 2014 Heisman Trophy. He is a native of Homewood, Alabama.

Niles Paul (born August 9, 1989) is a former American football tight end. He played college football as a wide receiver at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and was selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.

Upton Tyrone Williams (born May 31, 1973 in Bradenton, Florida) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League for the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Nebraska.

Ahman Rashad Green (born February 16, 1977) is a former American football running back who played 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and currently the head eSports coach at Lakeland University. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 3rd round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska. Green also played for the Houston Texans, and was a four-time Pro Bowl selection with the Packers, where he holds the franchise record for rushing yards.
