Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, also spelled Baurjan Momish-Uli (Kazakh: Бауыржан Момышұлы, Baýyrjan Momyshuly; Russified: Бауыржан Момышулы; 24 December [O.S. 11 December] 1910 – 10 June 1982) was a Kazakh-Soviet military officer and author, posthumously awarded with the titles Hero of the Soviet Union and People's Hero of Kazakhstan.

Fatma Sattarovna Mukhtarova (Azerbaijani: Fatma Muxtarova, Russian: Фатьма Мухтарова; 26 March 1893 or 1898 – 19 October 1972) was a Russian and Soviet opera singer (mezzo-soprano), Honorary Artist of Georgia, and People's Artist of Azerbaijan.

Abdulla Qahhor (sometimes spelled Abdulla Kahhar in English) (Uzbek: Abdulla Qahhor, Абдулла Қаҳҳор) (September 17, 1907 – May 25, 1968) was an Uzbek novelist, short story writer, poet, playwright, and literary translator. He is best remembered as the author of the 1951 novel Qoʻshchinor chiroqlari (The Lights of Qoʻshchinor) and the 1958 story Sinchalak. In addition to writing numerous short stories and novels, Qahhor translated the works of many famous Russian writers, such as Alexander Pushkin, Anton Chekhov, and Nikolai Gogol into the Uzbek language. In particular, he translated The Captain's Daughter of Pushkin, Marriage and The Government Inspector of Gogol, and, together with his wife Kibriyo Qahhorova, War and Peace of Leo Tolstoy.

Kuba Shaaban : ((Adyghe: Кубэ Шабан ); (Arabic: كوبا شعبان‎); (Russian: Кубов Шабан)) (15 January 1890 – 20 January 1974), was a Russian;(Circassian ethnic) writer, historian, and playwright. famous for his advocacy of the Circassians Culture and he produced works in almost every literary form including plays, poetry, novels, essays, and historical works.

Aleksander Sulkiewicz - actually Iskander Mirza Huzman Beg Sulkiewicz, (conspiratorial name Michał, sometimes Czarny Michał (Black Michael)) (born December 8, 1867 in Skersabaliai, Lithuania, died September 18, 1916 near Sitowicze) - was a Polish politician of Tatar ethnicity, activist in socialist and independence movements and one of the co-founders of Polish Socialist Party.

Aleksander Romanowicz was a general of cavalry in both Russian Imperial Army and Polish Army. Born April 1, 1871, in his family estate Olekszyszki (near Lida), in 1890 he graduated from the Russian Army Cadet Corps in Polotsk, then entered the Officer’s School of Cavalry, becoming in 1892 a professional officer of the Russian Army. He was of Lithuanian Tatar origin.

Abdurrahim bey Asad bey oglu Hagverdiyev (Azerbaijani: Əbdürrəhim bəy Haqverdiyev) (17 May 1870 – 11 December 1933) was an Azerbaijani playwright, writer and cultural figure, stage director, politician, public figure, one of the 5 thirst Azeri Deputats of First Duma of Russia Empire, Deputat of Georgian Parliament, Creator Theatrical Writers Society in Azerbaijan, one of the redactors jornal “Molla Nasreddin”, Ambassador Azerbaijan in Dagestan and Armenia.

Shoqan Shynghysuly Walikhanov (Kazakh: Шоқан Шыңғысұлы Уәлихан, Shoqan Shyńǵysuly Ýálıhan; Russian: Чокан Чингисович Валиханов), given name Muhammed Qanafiya (Kazakh: Мұхаммед Қанафия, Muhammed Qanafııa) (November 1835 – April 10, 1865) was a Kazakh scholar, ethnographer, historian and participant in The Great Game. He is regarded as the father of modern Kazakh historiography and ethnography. The Kazakh Academy of Sciences is named after him. His name is written Chokan Valikhanov in English based on the transliteration of the Russian spelling of his name, which he used himself.

Zhumabay Shayakhmetuly Shayakhmetov (Kazakh: Жұмабай Шаяхметұлы Шаяхметов, Jumabaı Shıahmetuly Shıahmetov; Russian: Жумабай Шаяхметов), (30 August 1902 – 17 October 1966), was a Kazakh Soviet Communist political figure. From 1946 through 1954, he was First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Kazakh SSR.
