George Frideric (or Frederick) Handel (baptised Georg Friederich Händel, 23 February 1685 – 14 April 1759) was a German-born Baroque composer becoming well known for his operas, oratorios, anthems, concerti grossi and organ concertos. Handel received his training in Halle and worked as a composer in Hamburg and Italy before settling in London in 1712, where he spent the bulk of his career and became a naturalised British subject in 1727. He was strongly influenced both by the middle-German polyphonic choral tradition and by composers of the Italian Baroque.

Richard Bruno Heydrich (23 February 1865 – 24 August 1938) was a German opera singer (tenor), and composer. He was the father of SS Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, an architect of the Final Solution, and Heinz and Maria Heydrich.

During the 1960s and early 70s she became well known to television viewers through her appearances as a member of the five member Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft (political cabaret group).

Wolfram Röhrig (5 October 1916 – 30 May 1998) was a German pianist, composer and conductor, who also worked under the alias Wolf Droysen. A jazz pianist, he was the director of music departments of the broadcasters Hessischer Rundfunk and Süddeutscher Rundfunk, responsible for light music and jazz. With the choir Nürnberg Lehrergesangverein from Nuremberg, Germany, he performed and recorded works such as Te Deum compositions by Anton Bruckner and Heinrich Sutermeister, and Max Reger's Der 100. Psalm.
