Kozhikode (), also known as Calicut, is a city along the Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala in India. Known as the City of Spices, Kozhikode is listed among the UNESCO's Cities of Literature.

The Kannur Corporation, also known as Corporation of Cannanore, is the municipal corporation that administers the city of Kannur (Cannanore), Kerala. Established in 2015, the Corporation's first mayor was E. P. Latha. Kannur Corporation has two assembly constituencies – Kannur (State Assembly constituency) and Azhikode (State Assembly constituency) – both of which are part of the Kannur parliamentary constituency. The Corporation is headed by a Mayor and council, and manages 78.35 km of Kannur city, with a population of about 232,486 within that area. Kannur Municipal Corporation has been formed with functions to improve the infrastructure of town.

Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation (Malayalam: തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരസഭ) is the largest city corporation in Kerala state in India by area and population. It is the Municipal Corporation that administrates the city of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. The city corporation is spread over 214.86 km with 100 wards and a population of 9,57,730 inhabitants and metropolitan population of 2.1 million.

Kollam Municipal Corporation (KMC) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified civic body that governs the city of Kollam in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the fourth-largest city corporation by population in the state, and the fifth-largest by area. Constituted in 1903 it was officially recognized as a city corporation in 2000. The body governs an area of 73.03 square kilometres (28.20 sq mi) centered at Kollam, with about 55 divisions and a population of 397,419.

The Thrissur Municipal Corporation is the civic body that governs Thrissur city in Kerala, India. It is the third largest city Corporation in the state of Kerala by area and fourth largest in population. Established as a Municipality since 1921 under the Cochin Municipal Regulations, it is responsible for civic infrastructure and administration; the distribution of electricity and water for Thrissur city. The Corporation manages 101.42 km of Thrissur city limits of through 55 wards through five zones Ayyanthole, Vilvattom, Ollukkara, Ollur and Koorkanchery. The Kochi Municipal Corporation is the municipal corporation that manages the Indian city of Kochi in the state of Kerala. The Corporation manages 94.88 km of Kochi city and has a population of 677,381 within that area. It is the most densely populated city corporation in the state. Kochi Municipal Corporation has been formed with functions to improve the infrastructure of town.

The Kozhikode Corporation, also known as Corporation of Calicut, is the municipal corporation responsible for the administration of the city of Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala. Established in 1962, the Corporation's first mayor was H. Manjunatha Rao. Kozhikode Corporation has four assembly constituencies – Kozhikode North (State Assembly constituency) , Kozhikode South (State Assembly constituency) , Beypore (State Assembly constituency) and Elathur (State Assembly constituency) – all of which are part of the Kozhikode parliamentary constituency.
