Jake Christopher Delhomme (born January 10, 1975) is a former American football quarterback who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL). Delhomme played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, then known as the University of Southwestern Louisiana, before being signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent after the 1997 NFL Draft. Delhomme began his professional career as a practice squad player with the Saints in 1997 and 1998 and played in the NFL Europe for two years in between NFL seasons. Returning to the Saints, Delhomme played his first NFL games in 1999. Delhomme played as the Carolina Panthers starting quarterback from 2003 to 2009. Delhomme held most of Carolina's quarterback records until Cam Newton broke most of them. Delhomme led the team to Super Bowl XXXVIII in his first season with Carolina. After his departure from Carolina, Delhomme also played for the Cleveland Browns in 2010 and Houston Texans in 2011.

Eugene Sims (born March 16, 1986) is an American football defensive end who is currently a free agent. He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft. He played college football at West Texas A&M University.

José Rafael Septién Michel (born December 12, 1953) is a former Mexican-American placekicker in the National Football League for the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Charles Anthony Tillman (born February 23, 1981), nicknamed Peanut, is a former American football cornerback, who is currently a United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent. He played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft.

Alvin Ralph Dark (January 7, 1922 – November 13, 2014), nicknamed "Blackie" and "The Swamp Fox", was an American professional baseball shortstop and manager. He played fourteen years in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston/Milwaukee Braves (1946, 1948–49, 1960), the New York Giants (1950–56), the St. Louis Cardinals (1956–58), the Chicago Cubs (1958–59), and the Philadelphia Phillies (1960). Later, he managed the San Francisco Giants (1961–64), the Kansas City/Oakland Athletics (1966–67, 1974–75), the Cleveland Indians (1968–71), and the San Diego Padres (1977). He was a three-time All-Star and a two-time World Series champion, once as a player (1954) and once as a manager (1974).

Ivan "Ike" Taylor (born May 5, 1980) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft, and spent his entire 12-year career in Pittsburgh. He played college football at University of Louisiana at Lafayette

Brandon Ray Stokley (born June 23, 1976) is a former American football wide receiver and current radio personality. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played college football at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Kyries Hebert [KY-ris EH-bare] (born October 9, 1980) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker and safety. He was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2002. He played college football at Louisiana-Lafayette. In the NFL Hebert has been a member of the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals. In the CFL he has also been a member Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Montreal Alouettes.

Ceandris Nehemiah Brown (born January 27, 1983) is a former American football safety. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisiana-Lafayette, and was also in the National Guard.

Richard Anthony Cunningham (born August 18, 1970) is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers, and Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
