Gatis Lagzdiņš (born November 27, 1989) better known as Sv3rige and Goatis is a Latvian YouTuber, conspiracy theorist, and anti-vegan activist. He is known for eating raw meat at vegan events.

Konstantīns Pupurs (March 5, 1964 in Riga, – September 10, 2017 in Riga) was a Latvian political scientist, historian, linguist and human rights group "Helsinki-86" activist during the Latvian Third Awakening, also known as the Singing Revolution. Since 2010 he became active in the Latvian political movement "All For Latvia!".

Mārcis Liors Skadmanis FRSA (born Mārcis Skadmanis; 29 May 1984), is a Latvian-born UK-based social entrepreneur, and founder of the World NGO Day, annually observed on 27 February.

Pēteris Pētersons (1923–1998) was a Latvian playwright, theatre director and drama critic, theorist, translator, journalist and social activist. His debut play, Cilvēks oktobra vējā (A Man in the October Wind) caem in 1947, and he began directing at the Theatre Institute in 1953. His production of Man trīsdesmit gadu (I’m Thirty Years Old) in 1962 was met with considerable acclaim. He also translated numerous plays and theoretical writings, especially from French.

Johann Steinhauer (Latvian: Jānis Šteinhauers, born Jānis Akmeņkalis; 19 January 1705 – 21 February 1779) was a Latvian entrepreneur, social reformer and landowner, who made significant contributions to the Latvian civil rights throughout the 18th century.

Alina Lebedeva (born 1984 or 1985) is a Latvian of Russian ethnicity known for slapping Prince Charles of the United Kingdom with three red flowers in 2001 at age 16. In other actions, she allegedly set fire to a door of the Latvian Ministry of Education and was arrested for a political protest in Moscow.
