Godzilla: Final Wars (ゴジラ ファイナル ウォーズ, Gojira Fainaru Wōzu) is a 2004 kaiju film directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, with special effects by Eiichi Asada. An international co-production between Japan, Australia, the United States, and China, the film was produced by Toho Pictures, CP International, Zazou Productions, and Napalm Films, and is the 29th film in the Godzilla franchise, the sixth and final film in the franchise's Millennium series and Toho's 28th Godzilla film. The film stars Masahiro Matsuoka, Rei Kikukawa, Don Frye, Maki Mizuno, Kazuki Kitamura, Kane Kosugi, Kumi Mizuno, Kenji Sahara, Masami Nagasawa, Chihiro Otsuka, Shigeru Izumiya, Masakatsu Funaki, Masato Ibu, Jun Kunimura, and Akira Takarada. In the film, when a mysterious race of aliens known as the Xiliens arrive on Earth, the Earth Defense Force find themselves locked in battle with various monsters attacking cities around the world, leading them to revive the only chance to save their planet: Godzilla.

Karate Girl (KG カラテガール) is a 2011 Japanese martial arts film directed by Yoshikatsu Kimura starring Rina Takeda.

Shinobi: Heart Under Blade is a 2005 Japanese romantic drama film directed by Ten Shimoyama and written by Kenya Hirata. It is an adaptation of Futaro Yamada's novel The Kouga Ninja Scrolls, although the characters are highly altered. It depicts the clash between two ninja clans, Iga and Kouga, and the fated love between Gennosuke (Kouga) and Oboro (Iga). The film's theme song was "Heaven" by Ayumi Hamasaki.

Into the Sun is a 2005 American action thriller film directed by Christopher "mink" Morrison. It stars Steven Seagal, who also produced and co-wrote the film, along with Matthew Davis, Takao Osawa, Eddie George, Juliette Marquis, Ken Lo, and William Atherton. Filmed and set in Tokyo, Seagal plays a CIA operative who becomes embroiled a conflict between the Japanese Yakuza and the Chinese Triads.

Ninja Kids!!! (忍たま乱太郎, Nintama Rantarô) is a 2011 Japanese family-oriented comedy film directed by Takashi Miike. The film is live-action adaptation of the Japanese anime series Nintama Rantarō. The film stars Seishiro Kato as Rantaro who is sent to a ninja training school by his parents. During the summer, they are challenged by a group of rival ninjas which culminates in a race to ring a bell on top of a mountain.

Yo-Yo Girl Cop, known in Japan as Sukeban Deka: Code Name = Saki Asamiya (Japanese: スケバン刑事 コードネーム=麻宮サキ, Hepburn: Sukeban Deka: Kōdo Nēmu = Asamiya Saki) is a 2006 Japanese live-action feature film, the third to be based on the manga Sukeban Deka, directed by Kenta Fukasaku.

Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, known as Street Fighter II Movie (ストリートファイター II MOVIE, Sutorīto Faitā Tsū Mūbī) in Japan and Australia, is a 1994 anime film adaptation of the Street Fighter II fighting game written by Kenichi Imai, directed by Gisaburō Sugii and animated by Group TAC. The film, originally released in Japan on August 6, 1994, was released theatrically in the United Kingdom, France, and Spain, and was adapted into English in dubbed and subtitled format by Animaze for Manga Entertainment. It was distributed by Toei Company in Japan, while 20th Century Fox also distributed in select countries.

Shaolin Girl (少林少女, Shōrin shōjo) is a 2008 Japanese sports action comedy film inspired by Stephen Chow's film Shaolin Soccer (2001). Unlike the original film, the film focuses on women's lacrosse. It starred Japanese actress Ko Shibasaki and Hong Kong actors Lam Chi Chung and Tin Kai Man return from the original film. The film was released in Japan on April 26, 2008. Stephen Chow, director and star in Shaolin Soccer, was the producer, but is not credited as writer or director.

A Battle of Wits (also known as Battle of the Warriors) is a 2006 war film based on the Japanese historical novel (Rōmaji title: Bokkō or Bokukō; lit. "Mohist Attack") by Ken'ichi Sakemi, as well as the manga series Bokko by Hideki Mori. Directed by Jacob Cheung, the film starred Andy Lau, Ahn Sung-ki, Wang Zhiwen, Fan Bingbing, Nicky Wu and Choi Siwon. This was a joint-production between mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.

Batman Ninja (ニンジャバットマン, Ninja Batman) is a 2018 American-Japanese animated superhero film directed by Junpei Mizusaki, produced by Warner Bros., and animated by Kamikaze Douga and YamatoWorks, which features the DC Comics character Batman. Takashi Okazaki, the creator of Afro Samurai, is the character designer for the film. The first poster was revealed on October 5, 2017, and the trailers were released later on December 1, 2017.
