Connie Hines (March 24, 1931 – December 18, 2009) was an American actress best known for playing Alan Young's wife, Carol Post, on the 1960s sitcom Mister Ed.

Joe Rando (born April 10, 1955) is a former American ice hockey player from Dedham, Massachusetts.

Anita Hale Shreve (October 7, 1946 – March 29, 2018) was an American writer, chiefly known for her novels. One of her first published stories, Past the Island, Drifting (published in 1975), was awarded an O. Henry Prize in 1976.

Joseph "Shad" Araby (May 13, 2024 – August 17, 2006) was an American veteran, custodian, and supporter of Dedham youth, particularly Dedham High School athletics.

Joseph R. Fisher (March 14, 1921 – January 19, 1981) was a highly decorated United States Marine Corps colonel. He was awarded the Navy Cross and two Silver Stars during his career which spanned from World War II to the Vietnam War.

Paul McMurtry is an American politician from Massachusetts. A Democrat, he has served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2007. He represents the Eleventh Norfolk District, which includes his hometown of Dedham, Westwood, and the Eighth Precinct of Walpole.

Robert K. Coughlin is an American politician and CEO from Massachusetts. A Democrat, he served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007 from the Eleventh Norfolk District, encompassing his hometown of Dedham, Westwood, and the Eighth Precinct of Walpole. He later served as Undersecretary of Housing and Economic Development and is currently the President of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council.

John Desmond Sinnott (born April 18, 1958 in Wexford, Ireland) is a former Irish American football defensive tackle in the National Football League. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 3rd round of the 1980 NFL Draft. Sinnott played college football at Brown.

Henry Bradford Endicott (September 11, 1853 – February 12, 1920) was the founder of the Endicott Johnson Corporation as well as the builder of the Endicott Estate, in Dedham, Massachusetts. During World War I he served in numerous public capacities, including as a labor strike negotiator and as director of the Massachusetts Committee on Public Safety.

Elizabeth Campbell Fisher Clay (1871-1959) was an American lithographer and etcher. Clay studied art in Boston, New York, and Paris. After her marriage, she lived in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England and exhibited in London, including two exhibitions at the Royal Academy of Arts.
