Czech art directors

Yemi Akinyemi Dele (born 4 November 1981) is a Czech choreographer, art director, performer, correspondent and artist. Yemi's constant exploration of diverse cultures from around the world has been the core of his own art, philosophy and creations.

Karel Černý (7 April 1922 – 5 September 2014) was a Czech art director and production designer. He won an Academy Award in the category Best Art Direction for the film Amadeus. He died aged 92 in 2014.

Štěpán Kopecký (1901–1956) was a Czech art director. He designed the sets for more than eighty films during his career.

Robert Stratil (1919 – 1976) was a Czech-born German art director. Born in Ostrava of Sudeten German heritage, he fled Czechoslovakia following World War II and settled in Munich where he worked at the Bavaria Studios.

Jan Zázvorka (2 May 1914 – 14 January 1991) was a Czech architect and art director. He designed the film sets for more than a hundred productions in a career that spanned many decades. As an architect he worked on the National Monument at Vítkov and Praha-Smíchov railway station.
