Canadian superhero television series

Mutant X is a superhero television series created under a Marvel Comics license, but with no connection to the Mutant X comic book series. It debuted in first-run syndication on October 6, 2001. The show was created by Avi Arad, and it centers on Mutant X, a team of "new mutants" who possess extraordinary powers as a result of genetic engineering. The members of Mutant X were used as test subjects in a series of covert government experiments. The mission of Mutant X is to seek out and protect their fellow new mutants. The series was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The Crow: Stairway to Heaven is a Canadian superhero television series created by Bryce Zabel. It originally aired from September 25, 1998, to May 22, 1999, consisting of only 22 episodes. The series was based on the Caliber Press' The Crow comic book series. It starred Mark Dacascos as the protagonist, Eric Draven.

Night Man is a superhero television series, developed by Glen A. Larson, that aired in syndication from September 15, 1997, to May 17, 1999. The series is loosely based on the character from the 1993 The Night Man comic book published, through the Ultraverse imprint, by Malibu Comics (which was later purchased by Marvel Comics), and was created by writer Steve Englehart, who also wrote three episodes of the series.

Painkiller Jane is a television series based on the comic book character of the same name. Airing on the Sci Fi Channel in the US starting April 13, 2007 and Global in Canada, it starred Kristanna Loken as the title character. The show was canceled after one season of 22 episodes.

Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future is a science fiction-action television series, merging live action with animation based on computer-generated images, that ran for 22 episodes in Canadian and American syndication. A toy line was also produced by Mattel, and during each episode there was a segment that included visual and audio material which interacted with the toys. A production of Landmark Entertainment Group, Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future was created by Gary Goddard and Tony Christopher, and developed by Marc Scott Zicree, with J. Michael Straczynski becoming de facto head writer. Plans to bring the series back, set 28 years after the first series, were announced in July 2016. Goddard Film Group, headed by one of the original series co-creators, Gary Goddard, was one of the development teams working on the new series.

The Adventures of Napkin Man! is a children's television series created by Tone Thyne and Josh Selig. It premiered in 2013 on CBC Television, as part of the Kids' CBC block. Mixing live action with animation, the series stars Yannick Bisson as Mr. Anthony, a preschool teacher who writes and illustrates stories featuring Napkin Man, a superhero figure, to teach his students how to handle difficult emotions.

Los Luchadores is a live-action children's television series that aired on Fox Kids in 2001 produced by Saban Entertainment and Shavick Entertainment. Ownership of the series passed to Disney in 2001 when Disney acquired Fox Kids Worldwide, which also includes Saban Entertainment.

Acadieman is the first Acadian superhero, created by cartoonist and musician Daniel "Dano" Leblanc. His animated series Acadieman, aired from 2005 to 2009 as a community channel production on Rogers TV, and was then acquired by TV5 Québec Canada for national distribution; however, TV5 cancelled the series in advance of its premiere.
