Michael Olowokandi (born 3 April 1975) is a British-Nigerian former professional basketball player. Born in Lagos, Nigeria and raised in London, he played collegiately for the Pacific Tigers. Olowokandi was selected as the first pick in the 1998 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He played professionally until 2007, when he was forced to retire due to severe hernia and knee injuries.

Ovie Soko (born 7 February 1991) is a British professional basketball player who plays for Le Mans Sarthe of the LNB Pro A and the Great Britain Men's National Basketball Team. Soko played college basketball for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Duquesne University. He entered the 2014 NBA draft but he was not selected in the draft's two rounds. Soko is of Nigerian heritage on both his paternal and maternal sides.

A 6'11" power forward-center from the University of Illinois, he was selected by the NBA club the Memphis Grizzlies with the third pick of the second round (32nd overall) of the 2002 NBA Draft.

On an international level, he represented Great Britain and was a member of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Andrew Derek Lawrence (born 4 June 1990) is a British professional basketball player for the Surrey Scorchers of the British Basketball League. Born in London, Lawrence played college basketball for Charleston, being named in the all-SoCon second team for two years in a row in 2012 and 2013. He represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Anthony Jerald Dorsey (born July 15, 1970) is an American-born British former professional basketball player. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. At a height of 6'7" (2.01 m) tall, and a weight of 220 lbs. (100 kg), he played at the power forward and center positions. He was the French League Best Scorer, in 2002.
