James Howard Horne (July 24, 1874 – April 13, 1959) was an athletic director and coach of American football, basketball, baseball, and track and field at Indiana University between 1898 and 1905.

Frederick Delmont Tootell (September 9, 1902 – September 29, 1964) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the hammer throw. He competed for the United States in the 1924 Summer Olympics held in Paris in the hammer throw where he won the gold medal. While participating the Olympics, Tootell was affiliated with the Boston Athletic Association.

Niles Lee Perkins, Jr. (July 1, 1919 – April 25, 1971) was an American athlete and physician. Perkins was United States champion in men's 35-lb weight throw in 1940 and held the weight throw indoor world record for nine years. He was also a good hammer thrower and football player.

Harry Howard Cloudman (October 22, 1877 – December 11, 1950) was an American physician, track and field athlete, and coach of American football. He served as the head football coach at Bowdoin College in 1901 and the University of Vermont from 1902 to 1904.
