African Games medalists in karate

Youssef Badawy (Arabic: يوسف بدوي, born 6 August 2001) is an Egyptian karateka and a world-classed champion. He won the gold medal in the men's kumite 84 kg event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In 2019, he won the bronze medal in the men's kumite 84 kg event at the World Cadet, Junior & Under 21 Championships in Chile, marking his debut at the Worlds and introducing himself as an on-the-come-up candidate for the World Champion title.

Lamya Matoub (born 18 January 1992) is a French-Algerian female karateka who generally competes in the kumite category. She has played in domestic level competitions in France representing Sarcelles club and shifted her focus to represent Algeria in international competitions. Lamya has claimed medals at various sport events including the World Karate Championships and in the World Games. On 26 August 2019, she claimed her second African Games medal in the 50kg kumite category during the 2019 African Games and couldn't able to defend her gold medal she claimed during the 2015 African Games.

Imane Taleb (born 3 November 1996) is an Algerian female karateka who has represented Algeria in international competitions. She has claimed medals in Islamic Solidarity Games, African Games and in African Karate Championships representing Algeria mainly taking part in the kumite category. On 26 August 2019, she claimed her first African Games medal in the 50 kg kumite category during the 2019 African Games.

Nabil Ech-Chaabi, sometimes written Nabil Ech-chaabi (born 4 June 2001) is a Moroccan karateka. He won the silver medal in the men's kumite 84 kg event at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, United States. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 84 kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey.

Chaima Midi (born 1 February 1996) is an Algerian karateka. She won the gold medal in the women's 61 kg event at the 2019 African Games held in Rabat, Morocco.

Ahlam Youssef (born 5 December 1999) is an Egyptian karateka. She won the gold medal in the women's 55 kg event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She also won the gold medal in her event at the 2021 African Karate Championships held in Cairo, Egypt.

Radwa Sayed is an Egyptian karateka. She is a bronze medalist at the World Karate Championships and a two-time medalist at the African Games. In 2021, she represented Egypt in the women's 55 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

Feryal Ashraf Abdelaziz (born 16 February 1999) is an Egyptian karateka and the first female Egyptian to have won a gold medal at the Olympic Games. She won the gold medal in the women's +61 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

Mouad Ouites is an Algerian karateka. In 2019, he represented Algeria at the 2019 African Games and he won one of the bronze medals in the men's team kata event.

Sanae Agalmam is a Moroccan karateka. In 2019, she represented Morocco at the 2019 African Games and she won the gold medal in the women's individual kata event. She also won the gold medal in the women's team kata event.
