21st-century New Zealand journalists

John Maxwell Cryer MBE, generally known as Max Cryer, was a New Zealand television producer and presenter, radio broadcaster, entertainment producer, singer, cabaret performer and writer.

Patrick John Booth OBE (9 September 1929 – 31 January 2018) was a New Zealand print journalist and writer. He is particularly noted for his coverage of the Arthur Allan Thomas case, and the Mr Asia crime syndicates.

Trent Keegan (12 August 1974 – 28 May 2008) was a photojournalist from New Zealand who was found dead in a ditch from apparent head injuries in Nairobi, Kenya. Before he died, Keegan was on a photo project on the Massai in the northern region of Tanzania.

Fleur Revell-Devlin (born Fleur Revell, 14 March 1972) is a New Zealand public relations consultant and former television personality and journalist. She won three Qantas Media Awards for excellence in journalism including Junior Feature Writer of the Year (Magazine). She is married to Mark Devlin her co-director of a public relations consultancy.

Arthur Baysting (17 April 1947 – 3 December 2019) was a New Zealand writer, producer and children's advocate. He lived in Auckland with his partner, artist Jean Clarkson. They have two grown children.

Matthew Bruce McLean (born 29 September 1986) is a New Zealand journalist and television presenter. He is a presenter on Breakfast, and was previously a 1 News reporter. He has also worked on the television programmes Seven Sharp, 20/20 and Close Up.

Madeleine Elsie Chapman (born 16 March 1994) is a New Zealand editor, journalist and author, and the current editor of The Spinoff and former editor of North & South. Chapman co-wrote the autobiography of New Zealand professional basketball player Steven Adams, and in 2020 a biography of the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern.

Claudette Hauiti (born c.1961) is a New Zealand politician and was a member of the House of Representatives in 2013 and 2014. She is a member of the National Party.

Michelle Penelope King is a white South African born journalist, writer, women's rights activist and advocate for gender equality. Since December 2019, King has been director of inclusion at Netflix, a department responsible for inclusion and diversity among corporate employees.

Patrick Gower (born 1976/1977) is a New Zealand political journalist and National Correspondent for Newshub (formerly called 3 News). Prior to his current role he was Newshub's political editor.
