Here for a Good Time is the twenty-seventh studio album by American country music artist George Strait. It was released on September 6, 2011 via MCA Nashville. Strait co-produced the album with his long-time producer Tony Brown. The title track and lead-off single, "Here for a Good Time", co-written with son Bubba and songwriter Dean Dillon, was released in June 2011. The album sold 91,414 copies in its first week. On November 30, 2011, the album received a nomination at the 54th Grammy Awards for Best Country Album.

Tailgates & Tanlines is the third studio album by American country music artist Luke Bryan. It was released on August 9, 2011, via Capitol Nashville. Bryan co-wrote eight of the album's thirteen tracks, including its first single, "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)." American Songwriter called Tailgates & Tanlines "a soundtrack for fun and sun, along with an instantaneous cure for the summertime blues." The song "Too Damn Young" was originally performed by Julie Roberts on her 2006 album Men & Mascara.

Tha Carter IV is the ninth studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne, released on August 29, 2011 through Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Universal Republic Records. Recording sessions for the album began in late 2008, shortly after Lil Wayne's sixth studio album, Tha Carter III (2008) was released to strong sales and critical acclaim: however, the sessions were put on hold, as Lil Wayne claimed he did not want to follow an album he held in high regard so quickly with another, potentially inferior release. In the interim, Lil Wayne released his two other albums in 2010: the largely rock-themed Rebirth, and I Am Not a Human Being. The latter was reportedly composed from unreleased material from the original Tha Carter IV sessions, as the album was released whilst Wayne served a prison sentence at Rikers Island prison for illegal possession of a weapon, and was thus unable to record any new material: this also meant Tha Carter IV's recording sessions were once more put on hold.

Set the World on Fire is the second studio album by American rock band Black Veil Brides, released through Lava Records/Universal Republic Records on June 14, 2011. It is the first Black Veil Brides album with Christian "CC" Coma playing the drums. He replaced Sandra Alvarenga after her departure to join the band Modern Day Escape. The title track, "Set the World on Fire," was intended for use in Scream 4, but it was not included in the film. Instead, an extended preview was released for fans. "Fallen Angels" was the first single released in support of the album, accompanied by a music video directed by Nathan Cox. On May 3, a preview for another song titled "Youth and Whisky", was released online. It was then announced that the single had been pushed back on iTunes to May 10, and would be provided free of charge to those who pre-ordered the album simultaneously. The full track listing of the album was released on iTunes, with an exclusive bonus track, titled "Smoke and Mirrors". On May 10, official pre-order packages became available on the official BVB Army website. On May 23, it was announced that the song "Set the World on Fire" would be featured in Transformers: Dark of the Moon and would be the official theme song for WWE Hell in a Cell (2011). During a live stream from Black Veil Brides Stickam channel on May 30, they announced that the music video for their next single, "The Legacy" would premiere on YouTube on June 6, 2011. The next music video to be released from the album was "Rebel Love Song". Two months after being announced, the music video was released via YouTube on October 19, 2011.

21 is the second studio album by English singer Adele. It was released on 24 January 2011 in most of Europe, and on 22 February 2011 in North America. The album was named after the age of the singer during its production. 21 shares the folk and Motown soul influences of her 2008 debut album 19, but was further inspired by the American country and Southern blues music to which she had been exposed during her 2008–09 North American tour An Evening with Adele. Composed in the aftermath of the singer's separation from her partner, the album typifies the near dormant tradition of the confessional singer-songwriter in its exploration of heartbreak, self-examination, and forgiveness.

Pure Country 2: The Gift is a 2010 American musical Western film directed by Christopher Cain. It is the second film in the Pure Country trilogy, and stars country music artist Katrina Elam. The film was released in the United States on October 15, 2010.

Dope Stars Inc. is an alternative and industrial rock band from Rome, Italy formed in 2003. The band was founded by Victor Love, Darin Yevonde, Grace Khold and Brian Wolfram. They have four albums and three EPs released, with the latest being released on May 30, 2011. The band has signed with multiple labels since their inception, with Trisol Music Group being their first. Currently, their albums are distributed by Trisol in Europe, Subsound in Italy, Metropolis Records in North America, and other small labels including Deathwatch Asia in Japan and other countries.

The Drug in Me Is You is the debut studio album by American post-hardcore band Falling in Reverse. Production for the album took place following lead singer Ronnie Radke's departure from Escape the Fate in 2008. Recording took place in December 2010 and lasted until February 2011 at Paint it Black Studios in Orlando, Florida. Michael Baskette, who worked with Radke on Escape the Fate's Dying is Your Latest Fashion, returned as the executive producer for the album, alongside former bandmate Omar Espinosa and others as additional composers and production aids in the studio. The Drug in Me Is You was released on July 25, 2011, in Europe and Japan, and on July 26, 2011, in the United States.

Everything's Fine is the second studio album by American rock band The Summer Set. Released on July 19, 2011, the album charted at number 65 on the Billboard 200.
